Locke and the Hooker Spawn

"... Where did the baby come from?"

"Well you se--"

"I KNOW WHERE BABIES COMES FROM LOCKE." Caine interrupted loudly as he thrust the baby into the other mans open arms. Caine had never wished he could get drunk until the day Gaberial had set him down and decided to have a very long talk with Caine. He'd come out feeling scared for life and every time Desmond came to visit the man would laugh at him. If Caine didn't know exactly how the body, mind, and plain genetics worked he might of chalked his Asexuality up to that very defining moment in his life.

Parts of Awakening

So below is part of the story I am writing. Its been around in my head since probably middle school. I'm not even sure anymore how these guys appeared but it felt like it was finally time to write there story. They've always been THE story that I've wanted to write. These guys are my babies.

She was loosing her mind. Granted in retrospect she thought this really shouldn't of been as much as a surprise as it was turning out to be. The signs where popping up everywhere and one was staring at her right now across the room in all his ruggishly handsome glory. She still closed her eyes though and breathed slowly as he counted to three backwards.

When she opened them again hopefully everything would be normal.

>>> Follow U Hom3

First- I meant to write that title like that for no other reason then that it amused me so.
Second- I think I disturbed myself.

>>> Follow U Hom3

A feeling can tell you a lot about a situation, it’s like a warning before something good or bad happens. Tonight it starts out as a tingling sensation that starts at your toes and slowly creeps up through your spine and causes you to shiver all over. You have a chilling sense of being watched, impending disaster. You want to look around for the creeper but not appear obvious so instead you speed up to where you see a crowd of people. If you can reach them you’ll feel that much safer, you think.

You haven’t really felt safe in a while and truthfully- We’re never safe. You’ve come to realize that even in your own home you are a target. Someone breaks in. You wake up to the sound of a shattering window, or maybe the heavy crunch of a booted foot kicking in the front door. Guns are drawn, voices are screaming. A friend, roommate, maybe even yourself is hiding under the bed while another person is in the bathroom with a hammer gripped tightly in white knuckled fingers. Just like that your life has changed. The home you felt protected in is no longer safe, and you are jumping at shadows at every turn.

Only I am not a shadow. I’ve broken into your home and stolen your things- jewelry, perfumes so I can smell your scent, pictures so I can remember you. A shrine on my wall built solely around you’re perfection. I’m positive you’ll be flattered when you see it. I have a wooden table below it- a alter with some strands of honey blonde hair from your brush.

The streets are dark. You finally turn your head to the left, right but you should be looking behind you. I creep up silently, nary is a sound made.

“I’ll never hurt you. Just let me love you.”

I had actually PLANNED for it to be a joke between a guy and a girl. He was going to be teasing her about what he would do if he was stalking her or something but I decided to leave it like this instead when there was no way to make the ending make sense. It was written in about 15 minutes.

Excerpt to the NANO Story

So a little setting up I suppose is in order. This short piece is an excerpt that I posted on the CampNANO site. It features Rose talking to the live audience about herself, and her fear of water and why she has that fear and then she delves into the reason they are all there before it shifts over to the actual story where she meets Conner for the first time. Conner turned into a bit of a potty mouth that I was not expecting at all. Luckily it's only inside it's head, sadly it's 1st person story.

Now I am going to be back to writing Conner chatting up the dead in school, or at least being chatted to by the dead.

Is it weird that I have a complete and utter fear of really deep water? It's got to be irritional right? I mean here I am the bearer of the Water Element and I personally can't stand it. I mean I love the rain and I am okay with taking a bath or shower but if you get me near the ocean my body sort of freezes up and a panic sets in. I can't get in pools unless they are shallow, and I mean in the sense that it's not rising above my damn waist thank you very much. I think being the water element is some sort of cosmic joke. I wasn't even always afraid of water but after an accident when I was younger it sort of just happened.

JUNE CAMPNANO

Guys, Guys, Guys! It's Camp NANO time for June. Like the weird person that I am I decided I am not only going to do NANO in November I am also going to do it in June, and again in August because I like I torturing myself.

So I decided to go the NANO Rebel route this year and I started on my story 3 days early. Between my classes, getting read to move to Ohio, and then having to drive back and forth to Atlanta (Ugh, 4 hour car trip) I figure I could use the extra days. I'm going to try to make it fair by ending 3 days early, and instead of shooting for 50K I am going for 75K this time around.

I'm loving the story so far though. I'm about 3K into it. It's with 5 different POV though Conner comes in mid-story. It starts off with them in a shrink office being interviewed before a live audience about who they are, and what they do. I think something bad happens and now the world knows that people who powers exit. I'm loving it though, and all there faults. It'll be interesting to see how I bring 5 kids from different circles together.

4 Minutes

It take about 4 minutes (or the entire length of The Frays "Look After You") to pretty much rip off every story known to man that features either super heroes, or teenagers with the power over the elements. Which because I am using a cliche plot I'm not to worried about... I suppose? I'm taking the idea and making it my own anyways.

Thousands of years ago it is said that the Earth was split into 4 different kingdoms- Earth, Fire, Air, and Water. Reigning over those Kingdoms was the embodiment of Spirit who was said to unite the 4 kingdoms in the time of it's greatest needs. All was peaceful in the lands until one day darkness fell and seem to change everything in an instant. The King of Spirit and 4 Warriors who held the power of the elements the lands stood for rose up against the evil darkness and pushed him back into the earth, sealed away for what they hoped to be forever but at a terrible cost. The King of Spirit lay dying and with it all the magic in the land.

It changed the world forever.

In modern day earth the world is changing though nobody knows it. A prophecy foretelling the return of the evil has been foretold and in the earths greatest hour of need 5 will arise who bear the power to destroy him once and for all.

Oh ya. There my beautiful plot line and unfleshed lore for my June Camp NANO story. It's the first time I'm actually plotting and fleshing it out to a lot of detail. August I plan to wing-it and we will see what November helms.

Floozy!

In which I REALLY love Aiden. He's totally straight. I mean, seriously. He was going to start out as a lithe figure and then I decided most of my characters are always skinny so I made him slightly pudgy but not a whole lot. He knows he's somewhat over weight but doesn't care much as he has a healthy love for food and tends to gain it in the summer time when he's overly lazy. In the winter time he'll shed 30 pounds. Probably.

My new goal in life BTW is to post a new writing every day. Just snippets of what I am working on to keep working on it. We'll see how this goes. It'll all rough draft though as this is only the first draft of the story I am working on at the moment.

"LIES!" A voice screamed out in anger. Seele almost jumped out of her chair as a fist slammed down on the table, the drinks rattling. She wanted to die as she noticed people were staring at them. Sprite looked almost shocked. His eyes were wide in surprise and his mouth was hanging open in a small O. A saying her mom used to tell her as a kid popped into her head, something about catching flies if you kept your jaw open. Dark red hair fell around the boys face as he leaned onto the table and stared at Sprite with bright purple eyes that looked like they were ready to burst into tears. "You told me you loved me and yet here I find you with this... this... FLOOZY. Sick my ass Sprite. WHO IS SHE!"

Writing Prompt: First Meetings

So I'm laying there in bed and this whole scene just popped into my head. I had to jot it down of course.

“Did a bag of skittles throw up on your head?” Not the wisest words to say to someone upon your first meeting with them but now that the words were out there Hayden supposed he couldn’t really take them back. Besides, if you didn’t want people to ask you stupid questions like that then you shouldn’t dye your damn hair the color of a rainbow.

Hehehe.

Taste the Rainbow. His mother would be so proud of him right now. He was living up to her expectations with his childish amusements.

The door slams on his face without so much as a warning but it doesn't really surprise Hayden. He sighs and settles down on the floor. It was going to be a long night.

First meetings couldn’t have gone better.
